This knowledge base article outlines the steps to assist authorized proxies with a password reset. Agents must complete all required account verification before proceeding.

Access Campus Connection

Navigate to Shared Information.

Search for and open the student record.

Review the list of authorized proxies set up by the student.
Verify Proxy Identity
Ask the proxy to verify their full name.
Use the email address on file for verification purposes only.
Do not disclose the email address to the proxy.
Secret Word Verification

Inform the proxy:
“I will be sending a secret word to the email address your student has on file for you.”
Send the secret word (example: OBSERVATIONS).
Wait for the proxy to correctly confirm the secret word.
Reset the Password

Select Edit on the proxy profile.

Copy the Proxy User ID.
Return to the Campus Connection homepage.

Select User Profiles.
Ensure the dropdown is set to User ID.
Paste the User ID and click Search.
Check the box next to Change Password.

Enter:
New Password

Confirm Password
Confirm the password with the proxy.

Click Save.
Login Confirmation
Instruct the proxy to return to the proxy login page.
Have them log in using the new password to confirm access.
